Yes it is delivered via an online learning platform where students can study at their pace. Within each module there are the pdf documents of the course content as well as other supporting documents. One-to-one zoom calls are conducted as students work through each module to ask questions, and for the trainer to expand on topics to broaden the knowledge and create a multi-layered learning experience.
Students have one year to complete, the average time is between four & six months. For students who study like a day job, it can be completed quicker depending on level of experience.
Yes, the certificate is IAMI GUEST accredited and internationally recognised. Students may go further and obtain their Purser CoC with the addition of the IAMI GUEST Advanced Leadership course, the IAMI GUEST Mental Health & Wellbeing course and three years maritime experience.
